Does anyone have this [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1584853867/qid=1142991920/sr=1-3/ref=sr_1_3/104-2447996-9701506?s=books&v=glance&n=283155"]Barbie in the Nutcracker[/ame] book? According to Amazon, it was published by Pleasant Company in 2001. Amazon sometimes gets publisher names wrong. I'm wondering if Mattel thought the PC name might give Barbie a boost? Curious.

I don't have that book, but my mom has a little Matchbox car book that has Pleasant Company Publications on the back. I thought that was interesting when I saw it.

I think the Pleasant Co Publishing is just a publishing house. Obviously they publish other Mattel books since it's now owned by Mattel.
I remember someone saying that at the Oshkosh (I think?) AG Sale they had a few of the Barbie/Matchbox books.
